The house designs take reference from vernacular forms of slate roofs and white walls, local stone faced walls, feature glazing to create light filled interiors. The house plans have been developed with concern for quality of family life expressed through flexible plan arrangements, life time adaptability, optimum spatial relationships and passive solar design. The stepped and L-shaped plans track the sun path throughout the day capitalising on the overall site’s southern orientation.
