A double height space with an eccentric composition provides an introverted, calm space dedicated to prayer and reflection. The chapel's enclosed interior, creates an introverted refuge from the visual and other distractions of the surrounding suburban neighbourhood. The metaphor of light is shaped in a projecting volume emerging from the only window inside the chapel whose irregularities aim at different qualities of light whereas roof lights diffuse and soften the light.
